Hey there,
We’re back on the water, and I wanted to share some of the highlights from the last few days with you.
We ended up staying a bit longer in Sainte-Maxime, waiting for the Mistral to pass. Once it did, we set off with our hand-stitched sails. I’m not sure when—or if—the sails will tear again, but one thing’s for sure: the stitches we did by hand aren’t going anywhere!
There’s something satisfying about investing time into a project and seeing the results firsthand. The extra days in the harbor also gave me a chance to dive into work on the new django.tours website. I’ve made the decision to leave the business side of Zanzibar behind and focus instead on our next generation through KIDZ, while staying connected to the educational work we’re doing there.
Stella has moved to Moshi, and we’ve rented a house at the foot of Kilimanjaro for now. The idea behind django.tours is to offer custom-tailored premium tours, so that our clients get the best experience for their money, no matter what their budget is. I’d love for you to check out the site and share your feedback if you have a moment. Of course, 10% of the profits will still go to KIDZ, our educational initiative.
For now, we’re enjoying a quick stopover in Nice before continuing on to Italy.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to me.
Best,
Floh
